Transferring churches (update)
My decision is 95% firm. I've chosen to wait until I meet with my immediate Elder and my Care Group (church small group) leader late this month to see what wisdom they may impart.

just wanted to comment, and say that I respect you for your convitions and the way you are walking this out, and how you are making clear that there are things of primary and secondary importance (e.g. CLC being true to gospel proclimation, although not being in the same line of belief on other matters).
May God bless and prosper you in your new church home!
RYC: I am a member of the Canadian Reformed Church in Langley, BC. Most of the people have a lot of their history in the Netherlands, but this is changing quite quickly. Majority are born in Canada and we also have members from Brazil, Korea, China, Sudan, Liberia, etc. We are a pretty multi-cultural church. Yes, I would say that the TFU, Heidelberg Catechism would be pretty close to what is taught in the Westminister Confession. I am not that familiar with your background. Would you say you are a covenanter?
Indeed, I am a Covenanter.
